I have been so busy this month with my new puppy and getting ready to move . This post is a little late, but its technically still April! Here is a list of things that I am loving in and out of therapy this month:
- Melissa and Doug Reusable sticker pads
Where have these been all my life?! I found these at Marshalls for $3.99 and they are a great way to target a variety of goals! Some goals I have targeted with this product include:
- Requests (i.e. “Can I have cow please?”)
- Describing
- Prepositions ( i.e. “Put the cow next to the chicken”)
- Expanding utterances ( A cow CAN….A cow LIKES… A cow HAS…..)

- Spring Changes, by Ellen B. Senisi
This book is amazing for teaching students about the transition from the Winter to Spring season. Best of all, it has REAL pictures. I found my copy at a local thrift shop, but Amazon has used copies available.
- Speech/Thought bubbles
I found these speech bubbles at the dollar tree and have been using them to target inferencing goals. Laminate and use these with dry erase markers for longer use!
This book is about the different lies you tell yourself and how to make them stop! It’s the perfect book to get you off your feet and make you feel like you could crush all the goals!

- Cauliflower Crust Pizza
I found this cauliflower crust pizza in a pack of two at Costco. I love pizza, but not what it does to my waist. This is a good alternative without sacrificing the taste. Plus, dinner is ready in 13 minutes, cant beat that!
- Earth Day packet
This Earth Day packet from Teach Speech 365 is so worth the $4.00!

- My Puppy
I so would include my new puppy on my April favorites list (even if she does wake me up at 4am). Her name is Gretchen Wieners, and she is my spirit animal.
I want to hear your April favorites! Let me know in the comments below 🙂
